BIG ANNOUNCEMENT about the Creative Pianist membership - you’re going to want to read this!

Since the membership was first launched in July 2020, I’ve added new courses twice a year and a new training every month but aside from new content, it hasn’t changed much and I’ve kept the price of the membership the same this entire time.

At the beginning of this year, I realised that the content had grown so much (50+ hours of video content!) that I needed to put the prices up, and along with that decision, I was very excited to use that opportunity to give the membership a makeover.

The result is a streamlined membership with a cohesive curriculum suitable for absolute beginners to go from zero knowledge through to an enviable knowledge of music theory with creative skills & confidence at the piano. Watch the video below to hear about the new changes or read on!

The improvements in the New membership v2.0

COHESIVE CURRICULUM

Courses are organised in their suggested order of completion with an updated Cookbook (Creative Pianist user’s manual), and personalised Piano Plan - so that at every stage you are steered toward the next level - you never have to wonder–’what’s next?’–in your piano journey so that you can always keep moving forward, keep progressing and keep the momentum.

DRIP-RELEASED CONTENT

The New Members Club Mix is now divided into THREE levels: Essential skills, Growing skills and Refining skills - and these are drip released to each member’s individual timeline in 2-week intervals. This is no longer a live aspect, but something you can undertake in your own time - but still with the curated material, in chronological order and at the recommended pace.

THE VAULT

The Vault of all training replays (20+ hours of lesson content) is now organised into levels of experience & topic - so you can easily navigate through your current level of appropriate training, or navigate to exactly the topic you’re interested in.

COURSES UPDATED WITH LIVE CONTENT -

The courses ‘Lovin’ Leadsheets’ and ’Songs by Ear’ have now been updated with their LIVE training versions so that it runs smoothly onto the live version after the course content. This will further compound the course material by presenting in a different way: long form ‘watch-over-my-shoulder’ view to follow up the 2-minute snackable lessons.

RIFFIN’ WITH RUTH -

Updated with more conversations about the pianists path so you can get an experienced & relatable viewpoint on the thoughts & feelings you encounter along your journey.

LATEST TRAINING AREA -

A dedicated area that displays the most recent new training for easy location & info on the next new training. A key difference in the new membership is the New Monthly Training will be delivered in a variety of formats from month to month: either a live coaching, or a pre-recorded lesson, or a guest coaching! Mixing it up so that each month is a new topic and a new format.

SLICK ONBOARDING:

In the new membership 2.0 there are brand new updated welcome videos to show you around the membership area: how to navigate, where to start and how the new curriculum works. You’ll also get a tour through the community forum ‘The Picnic Blanket’ and how the new members club mix and the new monthly training program works.

EASY NAVIGATION:

The new Creative Pianist members area is streamlined for simpler navigation - less of the stuff you don’t need to see and more of the stuff you do. Find what you need easily.

In addition to these improvements, the New Creative Pianist membership 2.0 will include access to new courses as they’re released including the forthcoming course which is due for launch in July!

Overall students of the new & improved membership v2.0 will experience a cleaner, streamlined interface with a clear curriculum and guided journey. You’ll gain full access to all existing and newly added content - as well as new courses as they’re released and a brand new training each month.

FAQ

When will it be launched? April 1

How do I join the new membership? If you are a current member, you will need to cancel your old membership and sign up to the new one. If you’re not a member yet, simply wait till April 1st and sign up to the membership then.

So what happens to the old membership? The old membership will continue for those that are already in there. But this will no longer be updated - essentially, you can stay in that membership with the current price and still have access to all the content you currently have access to. However, you will not gain access to new courses or the monthly new coaching going forward on a monthly subscription.

What if I still have time left on my current membership? If you’ve signed up to a yearly subscription and want to upgrade to the new improved membership, you can send me an email and I will credit you the amount left on your current subscription toward the new one and help you through the upgrading process.

If you have already paid for a yearly subscription prior to March 1, you will still gain access to a monthly coaching and new courses released until the end of 2022 (or your year is fulfilled, whichever is first).

How much is the new improved Creative Pianist 2.0 membership? The monthly fee for the new membership is USD$47 per month, or you can save by upgrading to the new yearly subscription and get 2 months per year for free. There are options for NZD payments also.
